Love that we dined on a Friday night the week before Christmas and it was still easy to chat.

We sat in the side area and the music was low. They have several places to sit in the restaurant so large groups are separated from other diners. Caters if you want an intimate date night or a large group occasion, ticks all the boxes.

Food wise: Absolutely delicious Italian food on one of Adelaide’s most beautiful streets

Delicious flavours, beautiful presentation in a great environment. In addition to this, the cocktails are beautiful and the staff are equally accommodating

If you’re wanting a fancier night out with some modern twist on built classics, this place is a must.

The conservatory was hired out for a function, so the restaurant was very busy and almost full. Unlike my last visit, this made teh restaurant very noisy and I missed conservations across our table of four.

Food was excellent:
– Strozzapreti Pistacchio Di Gamberi Strozzapreti
Prawns, pistachio pesto, lemon, pecorino, cherry tomatoes & zucchini.
A new pasta type or me. Very tasty, reasonably healthly sauce.
– Ravioli Pumpkin Ravioli
With pumpkin, served with burnt sage butter, walnuts& fresh goats curl.
Easily the highlight of my meal when I tasted my wife’s meals.

Comments on food, from our dining partners, were not forthcoming as we chatted too much.

For a lighter sweet finish, consider ordering one $23 Dolcitutti which has 7 x 2 tasty little treats. We split one of them four ways with coffee and tea.

Being my first visit to the long established Parisi’s, I took advice from my friends (Italian & Greek heritage). I found out that the owner is the brother of the other family member who until recently owned La Trattoria on King William St in the CBD.

Highlights:
– Peroni on tap and a good selections of local and Italian wine.
– Antipasta to share were Warm Kalamata Olives + Prosciutto 24 month old prosciutto, garlic crostini, Buffalo bocconcini hetomatoes
– My Gnocchi Verdura was teh best gnocchi I have ever tasted.
My friends stuck with the favorites Pollo Limone.

A lovely meal. Now I understand why Parisi’s is a Hyde Park institution.

At one time, it was a full restuarant. No problems chatting at any time. (No piped music, thankfully, either)

Parisi’s is always a great meal
I generally stay awake from artichoke, but one bite of the artichoke Carciofi dip caused me to begin growing arti- well, buying them from the veg.

The gnocchi was a great dish but perhaps moreso because I love pinenuts.
