I thought would be packed but it was 1/2 full.

I enjoyed the special, good pub grub. Lovely views over the green, good prices for food and drinks.

EAR BUD Q TIP

The night I dined in the West wall had a pin board petition and it was real quiet here (pin board is quite absorbent – not sure if this is temporary or not).

The East end in the booths were also quiet when I was there.

When it is only 1/2 full it isn’t hard to have a conversation at any table as it is quite well spaced, but at full capacity you may struggle in the centre or against the windows.
