We had an incredible dining experience at Unicorn, the charming Greek seafood restaurant in Broachbeach! It’s like stepping back onto a Greek Island.

Started off with a delicious entrée of tzatziki with freshly made pitta bread.
Followed it up with their signature dish, the mouthwatering lobster mornay for only $50.

The quality of the food was exceptional, the prices were reasonable, and honourable mention for their impeccable presentation, attentive service and wonderful attitude. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Avoid sitting near the lively café next door, as they have live music most nights. The band on the night I was there was brilliant, but the noise filters through one side of the seating area which interrupts conversation.

The ambience at Unicorn is cozy with soft lighting, but if you rely on visual cues or have impaired vision, it might pose a challenge.

On the bright side, the restaurant is access friendly. They accommodate for people with mobility issues and in a wheelchair will offer a spacious table with ample room to move around (just call ahead to ensure they set it aside).

For the best seat in the house, snag the corner closest to the roundabout near the front entrance. It avoids the noise from the neighboring band. Trust me, this spot is just right!

Staff Pro Tip: If you’re after a more peaceful experience, Mondays and Tuesdays are the best nights to go since there’s no band playing next door. Thursdays through Saturdays tend to be the busiest nights, while Fridays can be hit or miss in terms of congestion. I dined in on a Sunday night at 7pm and had no issues at all.
