We visited the Mildura Boathouse for breakfast and were genuinely impressed by both the food and the atmosphere. My friend says the service and food has improved dramatically with the new owners, so disregard the negative Google re Jews – they were initial teething issues

The fresh, open layout takes full advantage of its stunning Murray River location.

The spicy crab omelette was packed with flavour, and the coffee was excellent — strong and smooth.

Noise-wise, the venue felt relaxed and easy on the ears. While the space does have some hard surfaces and open areas, the breakfast crowd was mellow, and background music was either off or very low.

If you’re after a spot where you can enjoy conversation without raising your voice, especially during the breakfast hours, this is a solid choice.

Sit outside for river views and lower ambient noise from the kitchen.
