I thought if there is one cafe in Adelaide that would be quiet it would be the one in the State Library.

It does have quieter areas, but overall I would rate it as moderate in volume because of the open plan style and minimalist furnishings, so the coffee machine noise does carry thorugh the cafe.

Water fountain you can fill your drink bottle in (near toilets)
While you are here walk around the gorgeous buildings. So much character and history here!

Cons
Barista was disinterested and gave the impression he wanted to be somewhere else as I distracted him from his phone.

EAR BUD Q TIP
The foyer and outside are my go to here.
The business area is close to the coffee machine so it can be distracting there.
The foyer is not too busy so that would be my pick for inside if weather is not permitting.
