Stopped in for lunch before a meeting nearby.

Food: I ate the Southern Fried Chicken Burger: Buttermilk chicken thigh, coleslaw, cheese, & orange aioli on brioche – it was perfection! Get a bevvy to cool your tongue and then watch out for the kick of the kim chi though, phew 🥵 (disclaimer: I’m a chilli pansy)

Kudos for those perfectly seasoned chips, flawless!

Good wine list, reasonably priced too.

Lots of GF, Vego and Vegan options

Service: top notch. Spoke to Anthony who was very helpful with the Ear Bud Q Tip. Also very attentive, cheerful and happy for a chat.

Ambience: laid back atmosphere with lots of comfy couches to sit on. An eclectic range of furniture reminds me of nannas lounge as I was growing up.

Was moderate when I walked in, but they are happy to turn it down if asked. Many of my neurodiverse friends dine here so they are very accommodating.

Lots of different areas to sit in here incase there is a loud group, the speakers are spread out though so no quiet corners if the music is up a bit, but like I said – they area accommodating for music volume if the place is quiet. If it is full they may keep it up for atmosphere so may not be able to turn it down.

Beer garden same music volume, but again able to be turned down. The open air makes it sound softer here.

Dog friendly: well behaved dogs can be off lead out the back in the beer garden, inside must be on leash.

STAFF HOT TIP
– Most ambient times are midweek for lunch and dinner (not fri nights)
– It is lively Saturday nights, check out on their socials for live music times – it will be lively.
– Large groups / events are always hosted in the beer garden to minimise noise inside.
– If there is an event on at the entertainment centre it will be lively with excited show goers, before and after. Especially when the netball is on.

The lady Daly is a great pub but not a quiet one at times, worth it thought for their Rueben Sandwiches.

I visit with Arlo my service animal, Mandy the owner can’t say no to anything when Arlo’s with me and she’ll turn the music down 😊
