An after-show cast get together, saw me, (as audience member), joining everyone at @thegoldenwattle. A great find! 👍

ACCESS / AMBIENCE : FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Access to venue is excellent. Doorways wide enough to accommodate an electric wheelchair, and at street level (no steps!) I was easily able to navigate around venue, and sit my chair at table with ample space to turn.
The atmosphere itself I found to be great. I don’t know who was in charge of the playlist that night, but I was instantly projected back to my teenage angst years, with Talking Heads, Sonic Youth, Nirvana, The Pixies all making features! Music was not overbearing, however, so it was easy to hold conversation, and hear. Patron noise minimised by good acoustics indoors, so on all accounts, it was in no way a triggering environment on our visit.

FOOD/SERVICE: FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Meals were ample size! I ordered a Caesar Salad, and added grilled chicken. I really didn’t need the chicken, however, as the salad itself was chock full of everything you would want in a good Caesar. (Plenty of good quality shaved parmesan, whole anchovy fillets, egg, plentiful croutons, and a good dressing.) I also ordered some toasted ciabatta with butter. Meals ordered on our table ranged from the classic fritz and sauce sanga(!!), to schnitzels, burgers. Service was prompt, meals delivered quickly, and all within good time of one another. (Considering we were a large group, staff did well with this!)

Overall, a fab experience. Will definitely visit again, if you haven’t followed @thegoldenwattle on Instagram, it’s WELL worth it for the sheer poetic ramblings of whoever captions each photo… as a poet/writer myself, I find it incredibly entertaining. 😆
