Enjoyed lunch at the Duck today. Sat out on the deck, noise level was low. Easy conversation. Inside also quiet when I walked through. Food was delicious. Great selection of healthy options and pub classics. Modern menu. Excellent drinks list.

Just had my second COVID immunisation, but I didn’t get a lollipop 😕

Maybe it’s for infection control, maybe it’s cos of the obesity epidemic and they don’t want to give me diabetes, or maybe they think I’m too old to get a lollipop for a little needle…….

So I came here, cos you’re never too old to enjoy this bad boy, or give yourself a little reward 🤤

Sat outside under the heater, as always attentive staff and amazing food. Although on a main road the glass barrier protects your from the noise and conversation is never an issue at this place.

And seriously, check out this dessert!!!!!!!

Pretty busy Sunday arvo but conversation wasn’t a chore. Service was great and although a longer than normal wait for food due to the amount of patrons, the feed was generous and tasty. Above average pub fare in a comfy, not too loud environment. The S.A. beers on tap were a great treat.

Although it was a quiet time when we were there, it was carpeted with soft background music, so I think even if it was full you could still have a conversation.

Very generous serves, reasonably priced food, lovely atmosphere, and we were served by friendly attentive staff.

We will be back 🙂
