We should have guessed as it was Mother’s Day. The restaurant was busier than I’ve every seen it. Sunisa’s took over the next door shop years ago and converted it into a conference / meeting room with a large screen. It has attractive Thai decor like the main dining room.

As a result, the normally empty spare room was made into a dining room to cater an unusually high number of diners. Unfortunately, there did not seem to be enough staff so service was patchy and slow until meals were ordered. (One meal arrived much later than all others unfortunately)

Food was up to the normal high standard – fresh, tasty and colourful. Wine selection was Doc Adams white and rose at reasonable prices.

This popular Thai take-away and resturant is well-established. We had not eaten in the restaurant part for years and we wanted a quick bite for dinner.

Surprising the dining area was completely empty and a few take-awy customer were coming and going. The decor in teh dining area has improved with attractive Thai walls and new shielding of previously unattractive internal doors.

Dinner was:
– Curry puffs to share
– Red Curry – Curry paste, coconut milk, basil leaf & seasonal vegetables. Chicken option.
– Pra-ram Long Sorn – Homemade peanut sauce & seasonal vegetables. Veggie option

The highlight was the Pra-ram Long Sorn. Fresh crunchy vegetables with a delicious spicy sauce.

A group of 7 people arrived at 7pm so the sound level increased only slightly.

Back again with family for a ore 6pm dinner. Only one other group was there and no piped music. So perfect for a chat with no interruptions or interference.

We shared Choo Chee chicken, Basil stir-fry with prawns and Green curry. All were delicious. Servings were large enough to allow a substantial ‘doggy bag’ for tomorrow.

Excellent Thai food for eating in and take-away. Good value. The dining room is never too noisy, I always enjoy their authetic meals
