Three retired work colleagues met for a long lunch here. We sat almost in the open on the front verandah on North Tce.

Lunch was two 9” Margarita and one 9” chicken Pesto. All were tasty and thankfully did not have too much topping.

Coffees were very good. The weather was perfect. The company was as expected / excellent.

After 3pm the noise level gradually increased due to workers knocking off work early for an early start to the weekend.

We went upstairs for a quick meal between shows. Our table was on the east side looking down to the cafetaria style downstairs (and noisy) restaurant.

We quickly received our Ciabatta bread with black garlic butter, aged vinegar, olive oil.
However on main courses were slow to appear perhaps due to a busy kitchen.

We were both impressed by the presentation and taste of our meals and attentive staff.

– S P I C E D L E N T I L W E L L I N G T O N with mushroom glaze, baby carrots, pommes puree

Both were served artistically and tasted great.

Overall the upstairs eating might be on the noisy side especially if footie is at the oval. Surprisingly sophisticated food with a fair to very expensive wine list for casino winners.

Downstairs in the cafe was quite lively with many diners and close tables

Upstairs in the restaurant was a moderate noise level, but very popular so it was hard to hear around the table.

Great location on North Terrace in Adelaide. The food was basically upmarket cafe/hotel food and enjoyed the food immensely. Nice low noise levels and a comfortable atmosphere. A good selection of beers/wines/spirits and the happy hour makes it more worthwhile😁.
