We ate a very late lunch in the newly renovated St Francis Winery. The new dining room looks out onto the access road rather than the lake as previously.

The old dining room is a very large pokies venue. How disappointing! The pokies were busier than the restaurant which is a worry.

Our meals were excellent in both taste and presentation and were served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. No complaints there at all.

I ate a delicious, well-spiced vegan lentil curry with rice and poppadoms.
My wife chose a chook breast schnitty with parmi sauce. Chips and salad. Perfectly good Adelaide standard pub fare well made and delivered.

The dining room was surprisingly busy considering there were only 10 people, all well-retired and chatting politely. The large expanses of glass windows probably explains the surprise.
