Two #EarBudQTips for the price of one!

Hubby and I headed down Penny Red Beer Co and Sew & Sew wines, and they did not disappoint.

The brewery is set amongst the hills with charming vineyard views. Inside is warm and cosy with quiet corners and some cool decor. The red chairs were purchased off marketplace, they once were movie cinema chairs and we did lounge and relax in them like we were in gold class.

A selection of beers are available on tap all brewed onsite. I was the driver so I had a baby pour of the NZ Pale, hubby had the Iced Coffee Stout which he raved about. He thought it tasted like Fleurieu IC. He then had the Milk Stout, but the IC was his favourite.

We then walked 20m up the road to Sew and Sew wines. Ambience with a classier tone. You can choose to have your tasting inside, or outside and take in the view. Matt and his wife were welcoming and knowledgeable and took us through our tasting which was delightful.

You have to BYO food as they’re not set up for food yet. But if you can settle for BYO picnic or platter, or purchasing their snacks in the form of beer nuts and chips, you’ll get by 😉

It doesn’t matter if you prefer wine or beer, you are covered, both in an ambient setting. Overall, a great way to spend a date afternoon in the beautiful Fleurieu.
