@ritas.adelaide is your friendly neighbourhood restaurant. It has been described as modern Italian restaurant with a twist and their crab pasta is a must try!

Rita’s Adelaide is your new friendly neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of North Adelaide.

This restaurant is modern Italian with a twist. For snacks, we had their salt and vinegar parsnip crisps, oysters with white balsamic, jalapeño and ginger mignonette. We then got to try their grissini, pecorinos fonduta, which is like a cheese fondue. My favourite out of the small plates were the salt and vinegar parsnip crisps. They were so addictive! My friend ate the oyster as I don’t like oysters so they gave me the parsnip crisps instead.

For small plates, we got the spiced lamb ribs, smoked beetroot and chèvre. The lamb ribs were juicy and tender. It just pulls apart! The marinade on it was so tasty like a plum sauce. We then had the handcut Tagliarini with blue swimmer crab, charred tomato broth and macadamia or in other words, their crab pasta. It was the highlight for us as you can taste that the pasta is handmade and the sauce had so much flavour. They had decent size pieces of crab meat in there with a hint of spice too. I would order it again!

For sides, the pasta came with crispy potatoes and bitter leaves salad with citrus. We liked their food so much we ordered their semifreddo dessert, which was not included in the 3 course meal. It was just a nice end to the lovely meal!

At Rita’s they do really nice cocktails too. We had their napilotea cocktail, which is similar to aperol spritz. It matched well with all the dishes we had! The service here was friendly and I would come back again. 💕

Thank you to @divide.agency for inviting me and to @ritas.adelaide for your lovely hospitality 🫶
