A French themed cafe atop the mountains.

It was only going to be a quick bite, but I saw the menu and decided to stay for lunch instead of a snack. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed for coffee as well.

I ate: The Poets Toastie: Triple layered Sourdough with Local Ham, Aioli, Swiss cheese topped with a soft egg and garden salad.

BONUS POINTS

The Ambience: I sat on the balcony, where there are 3 x tables for 2. I was by myself but I could barely hear the table next to me.

The service: Anna was friendly, professional, and efficient.

My phone photos do not do this view justice. It is possible to look into the distance with the naked eye, but I was unable to do so with my camera.

EAR BUD Q TIP

Inside would be moderate if fully booked due to the floorboards and large windows. But the balcony where I was? Peaceful and Ambient. They only have small tables for 2, so if this doesnt suit there are larger tables outside near the front – but then you don’t get this view.
