Pikes Wines: An Ambient Oasis

We only wanted to stop in for a quick tasting, we stayed for an hour. This charming winery embraces you with open arms, and the experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Time does pass by quickly while you are here, a testament to their service, wines and relaxed vibe.

The service:
Andrew looked after us amazingly. He explained the wines on offer and then gave us generous tastings of all. Andrews infectious energy, valuable assistance, and witty banter added an extra layer of charm to the experience. It’s the kind of service that makes you wish everyone could have a taste of his hospitality.

Ambience: I’d like to start by saying well done Pikes!
Acoustic damping and strategically placed speakers ensure the perfect harmony of sounds, while quiet spots beckon for intimate conversations. They even have the flexibility to adjust the music volume in different areas upon request, making sure your experience is personalized.

Accessibility:
Pikes Wines is access-friendly, with convenient parking, accessible entrances, and clean restrooms that make the visit all the more comfortable.

Family friendly:
For families, Pikes Wines offers a peaceful outdoor setting, though a gentle reminder to keep the little ones close during your tasting adventure is appreciated.

For the eyes:
Set amidst a stunning backdrop, Pikes Wines is a picture-perfect cellar door in a beautiful setting.

For the taste:
The variety of wines on offer is simply amazing. Although time didn’t permit on this occasion, we are eager to return and dine at the Slate Restaurant, it looked divine!

We were more than happy to buy a mixed dozen … with 20% discount as well! The adjoining Pikes Brewery is just as good and they have a choice of al fresco eating or dine in.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or beer lover, Pikes Wines has something to captivate your senses.

EAR BUD Q TIP
Weekends are busier than mid week, so if sound sensitive call ahead to see when they have the least bookings. But, we were here at peak times and had no issues conversing around the table, or with Andrew 😉
