The other day, I had a lovely meal with friendly and attentive service.

I can recommend the Vietnamese Salad, it was so good.

Being a community club it is access friendly, family friendly and senior friendly. I love that they have a community bus to take you to and from the SLSC if you don’t drive, don’t want to worry about parking, or want to have a few bevvies.

This courtesy bus runs 7 days a week (bookings essential at most times, check out their website for more details). And it goes as far North as Burleigh, South to Tugun, and West to Tallebudgera, Currumbin & Elanora

EAR BUD ‘Q TIP’
I ate on the Southern pergola, there were only the sounds of the ocean on this occasion, but if this area was full it could get difficult to hear.

The dining room is carpeted, but the volume is moderate inside. It has been decked out for great surround sound with music playing, so there isn’t a reprieve from the speakers if you want one.
The centre of the dining room has a vaulted ceiling, there are fewer speakers here so the music level is softer, but the tables are close together so would be hard to hear if busy.

Best Spot
Weather permitting; The lower deck has a gorgeous spot. Sit in the corner where the booth style seating is near the watchtower (pictured). Less room for people is here, and there aren’t any speakers in this area.

Second choice; the Northern pergola outside the sports bar. It is less enclosed than the Southern area, so it is quieter

Staffs Hot Tip
It is a community club, so a lot is going on to keep the community engaged.
If you prefer ambience, check out their website before booking to ensure you aren’t going when an event is on.
Avoid Friday and Saturday arvos as they have live music, and Tuesday night is the quiz night.
Lunch midweek is your best bet for easy conversation.

If you are noise sensitive, book ahead and let them know. They would also recommend the northern pergola as the most ambient spot and can reduce the speaker volume required.
