When dining in, we will typically sit in the larger dining area to the south of the counter/bar area. Having come to this restaurant over many years, I am always struck by its consistently quiet-to-moderate sound profile. This impression is of course dependent on the number of patrons who are present, but even when the restaurant is close to capacity (typically on the Friday or Saturday evening), the carpeted floors, tapestries as well as the relative isolation afforded by adjoining rooms and thick walls keeps any reverberation and noise manageable, allowing an excellent level of comfort and conversation.

The service and quality of dishes at Namaste is outstanding and is a perfect option for singles, couples or small-ish groups. Highly recommended.

I had a fun reunion with uni friends at Namaste Parkside!

Service: The staff were friendly and very accommodating to dietary needs.

Food: Yumalicious
They have a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options, including samosas, momos, and 9 Bean Lentils. The food was delicious and authentically Nepalese, with mouthwatering dishes like butter chicken, Macha Tarkari, and lamb and goat curries. The spice level was just right. They also have a great wine list!

Ambience: perfect for catching up with friends – easy to converse no matter where you sit.

EAR BUD Q TIP
I had a chat with Raj, the manager, who mentioned that the place is usually conversation friendly, even on Friday and Saturday nights, as it caters to a more mature crowd. They usually seat people in the main dining room to keep the atmosphere pleasant and minimize costs.

If you’re hard of hearing, give them a call in advance, and they’ll set up another room for you if they’re fully booked. I thought that was pretty impressive!

Overall, highly recommend Namaste Parkside for a fantastic dining experience.

Ate in with a large group. The soft furnishings, carpet, table cloths and curtains absorb the noise. Ambient music and the food was delicious
