Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard is my absolute Adelaide Hills favourite, and I believe chef Adam Bowden to be one of the best chefs in Adelaide.
This is a fine dining destination, with exceptional service, exquisite wines and views to die for – so don’t take the kids unless you’re prepared to pay full price for them and to nail them to their chairs. They offer indoor and covered deck dining, so cover all the noise levels, except on special occasions once a month when they include live music – so obviously that’s going to change the noise levels.
The menu changes seasonally, with a strong focus on local producers – and it’s always been perfect in my experience.
