I had lunch here on a Monday in the dining room. The food was great and I like that they catered for coeliacs and vegetarians with separate menus especially for them. I’m not a vego, but the description of the mushroom burger was too good to resist, and it tasted as good as it sounded.

Friendly attentive service and reasonably priced.

The dining room was carpeted with booth style seating around the edge of the room, so conversation was easy and I didn’t struggle at all.

In the bar area they had booths, so it would be easy to have a conversation there also without getting distracted by others conversation.

Overall, a great lunch with delicious food, easy conversation and friendly staff. I’ll be back.

They have several different areas to cater for your individual preference.

The Atrium area is moderate in volume if you want a livelier experience.

The long couches (photographed) I have seen Mum’s groups meeting here. The kids get a babycino, the mums have a catch up, and it’s quiet enough and large enough for the kids to fall asleep being rocked back and forth in the pram.

The booths are great for business meetings with a charging station for your phones and laptops.

The dining area has soft furnishings and this is where I dined and chatted with no issues hearing my friends.

Normally I say to avoid corners, but the corner booth (pictured) next to the atrium is actually low in volume. It is next to the stage, so the speakers face outwards into the general vicinity, but because of where the speakers are situated, this area is shielded from the noise. It is partially protected from the ‘din’ of other diners as it is sheltered, and the noise from the room heads out into the atrium and doesn’t ‘lurk’ in the corner like it normally does.

Phew, think I just got RSI from typing all the seating option for where you can have an easy conversation in this place.

Good selection of a variety of tasty dishes. Quiet, comfortable and even though the place was full the noise level was low.
Would definitely return for another visit.
