OMG‼️🙀If you’re a Sushi Lover you need to head to Ku-O Japanese restaurant at the Gabba in Brisbane @kuo.gabb Their jaw-dropping GIANT NIGIRI 🍣 is a mouthwatering oversized pieces of nigiri as big as your palm, absolutely dwarfing the regular-sized ones 🙌🏻❤️

I had the chance to try all their selection from salmon, tuna, unagi, to tamagoyaki and they did not disappoint😍The texture was simply divine – the fish melted in your mouth with each bite, revealing the freshness and umami goodness of the fish 🤤 In fact, the nigiri and sashimi were so fresh and well-cut that I find it hard to resist ordering more 😂

And it was not just the sushi & sashimi that’s a standout at Ku-O. The tempura prawns 🍤 had the lightest, crispiest batter with a nice crunch to the prawns 👏🏻 the deep-fried soft shell crab 🦀 was big and meaty, and the Wagyu beef udon 🍜 was cooked to perfection, the rich & flavorful broth was simply sublime.

For dessert, the sesame ice cream 🍨 and yuzu cheesecake 🍰 were the perfect way to end my meal,while the mocktails, like the lychee mint and cucumber in particular, were refreshing and delightful.

Ku-O at The Gabba is an absolute must-visit for any Japanese food lovers . From the jaw-dropping giant nigiri to the impeccable execution of every dish, this place is still a true gem in Brisbane ❤️ There is also a beautiful function room catering for large group of diners for special occasions 😉
