    An evening at Komeyui in Brisbane is not just about food, it’s a sensory experience that leaves you in awe of the gastronomic flavours and the warm and attentive service.

    This dining establishment showcases the beauty and sophistication of Japanese cuisine. Each plate is a work of art, brilliantly marrying flavours, textures, and visuals.

    You have the choice to dine in their main dining area, or experience the Omekase straight from the Chefs station.

    We came here for a special occasion and allowed ourselves to indulge. Dining here was truly memorable.

    πŸ§‘β€πŸ³ The Service: Exceptional and considerate, catering perfectly to the refined atmosphere of the establishment while making sure you feel comfortable and pampered.

    πŸ‘‚ Ambience:
    – The restaurant’s interior is impressive. A spacious design that sets a relaxed and elegant atmosphere.
    – Soft music filled the room, enough to add ambience yet dull the presence of other diners.
    – Well spaced tables meant you felt like every table was your own private dining room. We almost forgot the other diners were there
    – Any potential noise from the surrounding tables is absorbed by the well-planned acoustic paneling. A separate private dining room ensures that larger groups do not disrupt the overall tranquility.

    Staff Hot Tip:
    Komeyui is popular with both locals and travellers for a reason. We were here on a Friday night and the ambience was perfect for relaxed conversation. They warn Saturday nights can get busy, but due to the acoustics and layout of the restaurant, it is never too lively.

    An Absolutely Delicious & Must Try β€œOmakase Classicβ€œ Lunch At @komeyui_bris πŸ₯° Every Course Was Beautifully Presented, Used The Freshest Ingredients And Skillfully Executed By The Very Talented Head Chef Minkyu @chef_max.han πŸ‘πŸ» The Chef Created Amazing Flavours & Textures That Were Tantalizing To My Taste Buds 😍 Chef Minkyu’s Signature Sushi Was A Bomb πŸ’£ Kagoshima A5 Wagyu Beef Was Finely Chopped And Flame Seared With A Nice Char πŸ”₯ This Fine Sheet Of Wagyu Was Then Carefully Placed On Top Of A Ball Of Sushi Rice, Topped With Lots Of Rich & Creamy Short-Spined Uni And Finished With A Flavourful Sauce. The Meat Was So Light & Fluffy ☁️ Each Bite Just Melted In Your Mouth With An Explosion Of Umaminess πŸ‘πŸ» I Loved It So Much ❀️ Other Standouts Were The Oyster Topped With Ikura/Sweet Prawns/Uni/Caviar, Soy Marinated Tuna Nigiri, Hokkaido Scallop Hand Roll With Foie Gras, Aburi Toothfish Hand Roll With Miso, Aburi Sea Eel Nigiri, White Snapper Belly Nigiri With Yuzu Kosho And An Extremely Luscious Dessert.
