All day brunch menu with toasties, smoothies and shakes. Cafe uses SA products where possible.

On the day I was there the music was quite loud at the start and seemed to be louder in the room I was in than the main cafe. The music seemed to be turned down or made more mellow by the time I left when there was more people in there as I didn’t seem to notice it as much. For a truly quiet experience ask for the outside chairs. It is protected from the weather to an extent (not in pelting rain) and would be suitable for the dog owners outside also.

My lunch consisted of a Cheeseburger and a Skinny latte. As a bit of a coffee snob I rated the coffee 10/10 and I need to find how to source it for my home coffee machine, it was that good! Options to have in cups or mugs.

The Cheeseburger was a delight – it had everything that you could want in a good cheeseburger. Pickles, mustard, tomato sauce, generous slice of cheese and a juicy beef burger. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It stayed together in my hands until the last 2 bites and didn’t need a toothpick or skewer to hold it together which I really appreciated.

However, the side salad was the surprise of the day. Rocket and slightly pickled cabbage with pops of pomegranate zing and the sweet touch of baby peas. A perfect winter salad that showed care and thought about seasonal produce. All too often the side salad is overlooked and in winter, dull and tasteless. Not so on this occasion!

A great little suburban cafe in a quiet street with tons of parking. They also do platters and corporate catering. There is also an option to hire the venue for your own function – the side room would be perfect for a small gathering or meeting.
