We had a fantastic afternoon here after it was recommended by a friend.

True meaning of family run business. Hubby is the winemaker, wife is at the cellar door, son is the gin maker.

Outdoor seating so weather permitting, lots of umbrellas if sunny.

FAMILY FRIENDLY: many kids games to play on the expansive lawn, but the staff try to keep the families in the family friendly zone so people who want to relax and enjoy the win can do so away from the kids.

Saturday is only the really busy day, other times are all very chilled and relaxed.

Foggo Wines is known as the Home of the Fortified – with 10 delicious fortifieds on offer which you can try them all in two different flight collections. They also offer a delightful white wine flight or a generous red wine offer which are equally impressive. All very well presented and in a vibrant and welcoming environment. Enjoy these while taking in the relaxed atmosphere on the spacious grassed front yard.

Feeling peckish? Build your own platter as Foggo Wines have a range of cheeses, olives, nuts, salami, prosciutto and crackers available at very reasonable prices. 
My favourite fortified was the Young Gun White Fortified, a very light and refreshing sipper with notes of honey and citrus. While my pick of the bunch in their wines is the very popular GSM, a captivating blend of fresh fruity flavours from the Grenache, with the bolder peppery notes of the Syrah and Mourvèdre.

a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with friends. Eating ,drinking and chatting!
