My girl took me to the newly reopened Fatcow on James Street to celebrate Mother’s Day 💐 From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by an inviting ambiance 💫 the opulent setting with solid marble bar, the soft touch of long ceiling height sheer curtain of the circular booth seating, and floor to ceiling height glass windows, created an atmosphere of refined elegance.

For entrees, the raw scallops were fresh and the chargrilled octopus was delightfully tender but beware if you can’t handle spicy 🐙🥵 The lobster & prawn ravioli boasted a beautiful crustacean flavor, though the pasta was slightly thick for my liking.

The standout dishes of the night were :
    (1) The warmly served Artisan bread with moo jus & smoked butter was a revelation, with its perfectly crisp exterior and fluffy interior 🥖🧈
    (2) The beautifully presented baked Patagonian Toothfish with parsley puree and fine sheets of pickled turnips just fell into succulent flakes packed with umaminess 🥰
    (3) The sides of Mac & Cheese and fries were equally impressive, complementing the main courses perfectly.
    (4) The huge serve of basque cheesecake was so yum with lovely caramelized exterior and a soft & creamy center, the perfect finishing touch to this remarkable meal. 🍰

Overall, the Fatcow on James Street has reclaimed its status as a must-visit destination. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a nice evening dining out , this restaurant is sure to impress.
