First time at this restaurant and from previous patrons, it was highly recommended. This place has a beautiful outlook over the boat marina and complements the atmosphere inside.
The food is authentic Greek with recipes from the original owners and now the siblings carry on the tradition. Beautiful delicious food.
The waitress was one of the said siblings and she talked about her homeland and heritage with us.
The ambience level is moderate and because there was a birthday celebration, it was difficult to hear at times.
However we would definitely return to this restaurant!

Great food & fun vibe. We were in the main part of the restaurant and it was pretty noisy but I could still hear people I was sitting with. There is a quieter part of the restaurant, under the pergola (it is still inside).

The pictures say it all about Ellenika. The moment when you bite into something that tastes sooooo good, the eyes roll into the back of your head – that is what you can expect when you dine in here.

Ellenika states on their website that they are inspired every day by Mediterranean philosophy… It’s simple. Good Wine, Good Food & Family
After dining in with my family, I agree! They back up this philosophy with their food, service and overall hospitality.

The food: this is my new favourite Greek restaurant. It is located in the picturesque Holdfast Shores, and on this occasion, we had the Agora Feast. Everything they served was absolutely delicious, from their homemade pita and dips right through to their delicious desserts. I cannot talk highly enough about the food.

The service: Friendly and professional, and the owner checked in on every table to make sure we were happy with our meal. Our waiter told us about every dish, and I was salivating at her description of every course. Yet, she did not oversell how delicious it would be, yum yum yum.
We had delicious food, easy conversation with good people, backed up with superior service. It indeed was a memorable evening. As I left, I looked in my diary to see when we were free to return again.

!!!HOT TIP!!! This place is popular for a reason, so it was fully booked. We got there at 6pm, and even then, it was fully booked. Even so, it was easy to have a conversation around the table. By 8pm, everyone was high on endorphins from the food (and possibly some of the Mediterranean wine), so it was more a moderate noise level at this stage. BUT – the food is well worth it. If you are bothered by background noise, and it affects your night out = get in early so you can have a memorable evening.

If you want authentic Greek fare that is chargrilled and flavoursome, prepared by chefs who know their stuff, then this is for you. If you are wiling to put up with a little more noise this place will be a treat. When full and bustling, the vibe is great, but a little more effort is required for conversation. I imagine this will be normal because its always full due to the quality of food and staff.
