A quick stop in Melbourne to visit family, and we decided to have dinner @dokutoku_melbourne located in Docklands.

A cute Japanese restaurant specialising in sukiyaki or Japanese hot pot, gyukatsu (crumbed and fried
beef cutlet), and teishoku (set meals).

The sukiyaki set comes with melt in your mouth M9 wagyu, napa cabbage, tofu, onion,mushrooms, egg, rice, and shirataki noodles. The sweet, smoky, dashi-based broth is just perfect with it. Perfect for the cooler months🥘

Chef’s 💋~Gyukatsu comes with golden crumbed wagyu chuck tail flap cutlet served with a bowl of rice, pickled cucumber, cabbage, onsen egg, and a side of miso soup. Kids loved cooking it🔥

We also ordered the unagi rice teishoku, and the chicken katsu teishoku were fantastic.
Sides~ chips, sweet shrimp, seaweed salad, and karaage, which were all tasty too!

A must visit if you’re in Melbourne. Gets busy so better to book💛
