I recently visited Chill Café 89 based on a recommendation from a friend for a catch-up dinner. Despite missing out on the fantastic view due to dining in the evening, I can confidently say that the food and service were exceptional. We tried the bruschetta and Thai beef salad, and both dishes were delicious!

Aside from the fantastic food and service, Chill Café 89 offers a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that is popular with both locals and tourists. With a motto of ‘Live the Moment’, the cafe serves an all-morning breakfast from 6.00am every day of the week and “Long Lunch Sundays” – lunch with music every Sunday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm with a variety of musicians for your entertainment.

The view from Chill Café 89 is also breathtaking. Overlooking the Esplanade, you can watch the boats go by and the pelicans play. The coffee is also excellent, and the staff are friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

As a quality-driven business, Chill Café 89 sources and hand-picks the best produce possible from local vendors, including fruit and vegetables, butchery, seafood outlets, and more. The cafe offers a simple yet contemporary dining experience accompanied by wholesome home-style dishes packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and made with love.

I love that Chill Café 89 is family-owned and operated, adding to the laid-back atmosphere. They hold events and functions and serve lunches every day, as well as dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

Overall, Chill Café 89 is a fantastic spot with delicious food, attentive service, and a beautiful view. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast or looking for a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
