    Almost a year later, this is still the city’s CBD sweetest dessert spot for Bingsu and late night sugar cravings, a great little lazy hangout spot.

    CHACHA
    📍230 Grenfell Street, Adelaide

    Cha Cha Dessert Bar has two House Dessert Specials: Choc Bailey and Tiramisu Parfait. Of course this late night, I was craving tiramisu and it did not disappoint!

    What we ordered;

    Classic honey toast
    Lemonade cheesecake Bingsu
    Tiramisu parfait

    Lychee mojito tea
    Lychee hibiscus aloe
    Lemon lime bitters

    This is a no thrill late night spot, it’s not overly noisy being the quieter end of the CBD. Cozy comfort for the cooler weather nights.

    Newest dessert bar in town is Cha Cha. It’s not the best place for honey toast as the toast was really hard to cut and heavy. Their bingsus were not bad. I loved the flavour of the lemonade cheesecake bingsu. I had never had that flavour before in a bingsu and you could definitely taste the pieces of cheesecake. Yum!

    As for the drinks, the drinks here are so pretty! We had the summer soda with peach iced tea, butterfly pea and soda. It was a bit plain. It was just pretty to look at. You can only taste the flavour of the peach. The brulee egg coffee with Vietnamese coffee, egg custard and black coffee was very strong and sweet. I loved cracking the top and you can taste the egg. I loved it more than the summer soda drink.

    Staff were friendly but we had to wait 40 minutes for a table so expect long wait times on a Friday night. Edo time was my least favourite so I probably won’t get that again but I will definitely come back for their bingsus!
