A perfect little drinks venue

This one had been on my list for agesssss given the social media hype. Saw a lil comedy show in Norwood first so it was perfect for an eastern side date night adventure. The venue certainly has cosy, cute, boozey vibes, but as a non-east sider I certainly felt somewhat out of place 😂

Staff were lovely and helpful, and even gave us the second table to account for the multiple dishes we’d ordered. As you’d expect, wine list was extensive and offered great options for all colours. Cocktails looked yummy too! The food looked greatttt and I was appropriately whelmed with the flavour, but unfortunately for the price (and I really hate to say it), I was slightly disappointed. For example, we had a pork belly sando which was fresh and tasty, but it was $12ea and the ea referred to a half sandwich only. Similarly, the steak was cooked well and the accompanying sauces were tasty, but I’m not sure it was a $50 steak. The standout for us was absolutely the stout sticky date dessert 🤤 Think I need to return perhaps on an updated menu, and give the pastas a go 🤷🏼‍♀️
