We made the mistake of sitting beside the coffee grinder. Regardless, the twenty or so Banjo’s Bakerys throughout Tasmania are always busy. Maybe you should not expect quiet? Great bakery and a wide choice.

Customers were a mix of dining-in and those here for take-away.

My son and partner ordered their favourite pies (sauage roll meat, bacon, egg). A vegetarian’s nightmare..

My curried egg sandwich was standard grub. All coffee (iced or hot) were good.

I’ve noticed as a visitor that vegatarian options seem much less than my home state of South Australia.
