As an add once said ‘ a hard earned thirst needs a big cold beer’…. And after a long day with the fam at Aussie World, I was craving a big cold beer. Banana Bender Pub did not disappoint.

We only stopped here for a quiet drink and was pleasantly surprised by the size, and ambience of the place.

They have something for everyone here.

Now admittedly, it was between services while we were here so I can only comment on what happened while we were here, but I was impressed.

EAR BUD Q TIP

The ground floor outdoor area not only allow fresh breeze in, but noise from other diners out. It also is set up for families with some games beckoning to be played in this area. Downside, it is next to the smokers area 😐

On the top floor…… booths. Comfy, secluded booths. These are normally more ambient than other tables, and they were located in secluded areas off the main thoroughfare which leads me to believe, they may be at peak time.

Also on this floor, open plan but open windows which again allow the fresh air in, and the noise from other diners out.

Kids friendly and seniors menu with access friendly lift and toilets for those who require some assistance.

Business: big win here. You can hire out any of these business areas for your meeting. Speak to Sonya, the events manager at Aussie World and she will cater to your request. Fees start from $100 and can be as simple as a morning tea, or team building events (especially with Aussie world out the back).
