A lovely Thai fusion restaurant that has a blend of modern south East Asian flavours.

We ate:

Entrees
+ Scallops (10/10) with betal leaf, chilli, lime, caramelised palm sugar, roasted crushed peanuts, ginger and coconut. Scallops were nice and fresh and could definitely taste the Thai flavours in this dish. Delicious!🌟🌶️
+ Son-in-law eggs (9/10) is parboiled, and deep fried with tamarind, palm sugar, crispy chilli and crispy shallots. Loved the sauce in this as it has a nice subtle sweet and sour flavour with a more lemon or lime taste. 🌟
+ Crispy pork dumplings (8/10) with shallot, chilli and black vinegar. Pork dumplings had nice flavour in the filling and skin was just right
+ Crispy soft shell crab (9/10) with yellow curry. Yellow curry was a bit too thick but loved the soft shell crab and it was very crispy. 🌟

Mains
+ Roasted duck (9/10) curry with pineapple and lychee. Duck curry had lots of flavour from the duck. Duck was a bit overcooked and the sauce was spicy but with the lychee and pineapple, it was very refreshing. Loved it! 🌟🌶️
+ Choo Chee Curry (8/10) with chicken, red curry sauce and vege. This sauce was spicy but needed more flavour. 🌶️
+ Pad Thai (9/10) with prawns, chicken, lemon, sweet radish, shrimp, egg, chilli flake, beansprouts, garlic chives and roasted peanut. Noodles were a bit dry but other than that lots of Thai flavours in the noodles. 🌶️

Finally got a chance to drop into BaliThai after stalking them on Instagram for a few months

The food certainly lived up to the gorgeous pictures on Insta with the added bonus of being extremely delicious in real life. We ordered an entree each and shared a main course. All of the dishes were fresh and tantalised the tastebuds. Just the right amount of chilli zing for our palates and we were transported via the plate back to Bali for genuine flavours

Carpark is shared with lots of other restaurants and in peak time is very busy

I’m a hearing aid wearer myself and I really struggled to hear what my dining partner was saying BUT it was an extremely busy time of year. BaliThai do have a separate semi-private dining room available for larger groups which would be a quieter option than the main dining area. My advice is to check the opening times and avoid busy nights eg Fri & Sat
