Our first visit to this down south SLSC. The restaurant/bar is situated nearest the beach with the patrol boats and ‘real’ SLSC ativities taking place in a seperate building at the rear.

It has been rebuilt since our last visit at least 10 years ago. Great big windows, a well-stocked bar and a full kitchen complement an attractive surf themed room. It was empty on arrival which was surprising as the nearby Silver Sands Beach Club was almost full (and very noisy, so we did not stop there). Another group arrived soon after.

I don’t understand why this SLSC was not busier.

The gorgonzola, mushroom and garlic pizza was a new combo for me. A bit runny, but delicious. Accompanied by one of four types of chardys on the drinks menu (more than normal), it was an enjoyable quick lunch.

The two young women working in the restuarants were very friendly and helpful. No trouble turning down the music a bit for the old guy in the corner with hearing issues.
