Recently visited Aji Spice House at Teneriffe for lunch @aji_teneriffe , Indian-Japanese fusion cafe😊 Started lunch with 2 lovely drinks 🥤Mango Matcha was a refreshing treat 🥭💚 while “Very Berry” 🍒 (a blend of blueberry, blackberry, cherry, strawberry, banana, coconut, milk, chia seed, blue agave nectar, and flaxseed) was a perfect thirst-quencher 👌🏻

However, the true standout of the meal was the “OKI” FRIES 🍟 These super crispy fries were topped with an array of flavors, including okonomi sauce, kewpie mayo, aonori, bonito flakes, pickled ginger, and spring onion. The combination of these elements created a rich sweet tangy flavour and a delightful burst of umami that had us craving more 🙌🏻 ❤️

The burger was good even though the fluffy brioche bun was slightly burnt on the top 🍔 It featured a yummy patty with bacon, a perfect fried egg, lettuce, cheese, tomato, pickles, aioli, and caramelized onion . While the Crab & Prawn Bao was a disappointment 😔 with the chili jam overpowering the flavors of the seafood and the bao was soggy on the bed of sauce .

Although the bao was a let down, but the ambiance , the service, and the other food all still came together to create an enjoyable dining experience.

If you’re in the Teneriffe area, do give this cafe a try 😉 Its menu offers a variety of dishes that cater to diverse tastes and I am happy to revisit to try other dishes 😉
