Unlike my complimentary review yesterday, breakfast was a mixed bag.

From my hearing affected perspective, the music playing was loud and annoying. Exactly not what I need a breakie.

The pancake with granola, caramelised banana and ricotta was the sugar hit I need.

We stayed at the Port Lincoln Hotel and for convenience ate downstairs. It is a sizable, modern hotel with all the mod cons and is situated across the road from Tasman Terrace.

The hotel is SA owned and is to international standard.

The restaurant was about 20% full. My guess is that a separate Sports Bar might be noisier but Sarin’s was quiet if a little chilly.

A local brew and a Hahn low carb on tap hit the spot.

Dinner wasn’t fancy for us. It could easily have been a seafood feast but our stomachs (and wallet) were happy with:

– Tuna melt sandwich
– Beefburger

With obligatory hot chips.

In summary, well cooked and efficient dining at a reasonable price.
