Gather your friends and head over to Amici, the Italian restaurant in Caloundra that’s all about sharing good food with friends.

With a menu full of scrumptious dishes, the spaghetti marinara is an absolute must-try, featuring fresh cut seafood cooked in a mouth-watering blend of garlic, cayenne, white wine, and Napoli sauce.

The Marinara, then backed it up with

Tahitian Lime Pie: crunchy biscuit with zesty silky smooth fresh lime and condensed milk filing, topped with crème Chantilly and served with a scoop of vanilla gelato.

Most of the restaurant was conversation friendly while I was there. They seat the larger groups at the back (private dining room is sheltered from the rest of the room), and the smaller more intimate tables are at the front of the premises as well as the booths.

The booths are the best place for easy conversation. Isolated enough from the larger tables, but close enough to the action, you don’t feel like you are sitting in a library (pictured)
