This is a weekly event/date for my wife and I, we are members here and the new renovations are a huge upgrade for those with hearing loss and looking for the classic surf club food and ambiance.
One major change is they have removed the annoying name calling over the PA when your order is ready and replaced it with self alerting dongles.

Great coffee, and a menu that caters for all tastes..

The breaky burger is a budget friendly and stomach filling winner as is my wife’s favourite go to the breaky wrap.

Alexandra SLSC

I love a good SLSC meal. Pub food, served by a friendly clubby (and reasonably priced plonk).

I stopped in at Alexandra SLSC in between appointments and wanted a quick, light lunch, and they delivered.

If you are sound sensitive, book ahead and request to sit in the carpeted, enclosed balcony area. It is sectioned off from the main dining area and the sound level was low while I was there, even though fully booked. The main area was moderate with floorboards and larger groups, if you are noise sensitive you may struggle to hear across the table in here.

I ate:
Buddha Bowl (VG) (GF) fresh seasonal vegetables, avocado, rice, seaweed, japanese soy sesame dressing $21

Service was what you would expect in a SLSC. Friendly, affordable, and efficient.

They also have a kids room with glass windows, so you can let them play and still watch them if you are within eye distance. The kids meal also comes with a colouring book.

It is also senior friendly with lift access, and seniors specials.
