As today was Father’s Day and we were running late from other errands, we saw Bracegirdle’s in Blackwood and imediately parked nearby.

There’s a lot more than chocolate and coffee here. We ordered :

– veggie burger
– veggie lasange
– frappe coffee
– large cappucino

My burger did not come with chips as ordered, but at least we were not charged for them. Both meals were ‘okay’ . My veggie pattie tasted alright but was very crunchy due to being well overfried aka black on the outside. The lasagna looked as it should.

It was very quiet as there was no annoying background music. Plenty of newspapers to read. No crashes on the Blackwood roundabout.

I can’t say it will be a favorite for anything except chocolate, but it filled our empty stomachs.
