This small restaurant chain (3) claims to be an UNAUTHENTIC AUSTRALIAN INDIAN BAR & RESTAURANT. They have a point, as the menu has catchy names and a music playlist that is certainly not Indian sitar or Bollywood.

We arrived at 6pm to join a queue to enter. The indoor dining rapidly filled, buzzing with a younger crowd. Music was turned up loud to create an ‘atmosphere’. Cocktails were in action behind the bar. Drinks-wise the most interesting concept was that you help yourself to beers and cold glasses (unfortunately not free).

Food was presented unlike many other Indian easting place I’d visited. Highlights:

– Balls of Happiness
– Cololnel Tso’s Cauliflower
– Lamb Rogan Josh
– Blue Cheese Nan (have they copied Jasmine on Hindmarsh Square?)

Smaller serves than expected, an upbeat feel and a welcome spin on the traditional Indian restaurant.
