✅ Well spaced tables,
✅ Minimal use of noisy equipment (blenders, coffee machines, etc.)

This brewery was our first stop on a Mystery Picnic of the Fleurieu Peninsula. We were offered a tasting paddle of 5 brews and a clam shell pack containing pita bread, dips and lettuce.

After 10 years of existence, the beer range is much wider and there are interesting beer related signs galore everywhere.

Recorded music was 1970-80s hits at a reasonable volume. I could imagine that a full venue on an evening, could however become noisy.

Friendly staff in an attractive rural town.

3pm on a Friday and it was beer o’clock.

We stopped in for a coldie and a snack, which on this occassion was the curly fries.

I do not know what is in that seasoning but holy cow it is so addictive it should be illegal! And that beer, as Homer Simpson would say, ‘mmmmmmm beer’

EAR BUD Q TIP

Inside; volume of speakers is low but it can be moderate when fully booked due to the acoustics of the building. This place is awesome so call ahead if you want to sit inside and require ambience.

Outside on the front deck = moderate due to where the speakers are and the volume they are set to.

Beer garden = best ambience. Low volume speakers, divine view.

Quietest = on the deck out the back. View of the reservoir but no speakers + open air + minimal seating available. This means it is the quitest spot, but no music at all can make it feel like a library.

TIP FROM STAFF
Saturday and Sunday is lively as they have live music.

Best time to visit is mid week when not school holidays, that is the most ambient 😉

Accommodating staff that ensured our group were seater in a back corner, which was quiet in order to support a patron with additional needs. Staff came over to give children pencils and colouring in to help entertain them while the adults enjoyed a quiet tasting.

Lovely food in a beautiful setting overlooking the Myponga reservoir
This place has awesome home brewed beer and good selection of wines.
Can eat inside or outside.
