We initially stopped by Dapper Chap Distillery for just one drink, but two hours later, we were still soaking in everything this amazing spot has to offer.

Nestled in the charming seaside town of Normanville, this alfresco garden bar is an absolute gem.

The atmosphere here is second to none. With live music from talented local musicians setting the tone, the vibe is both lively and laid-back. And even when the music was playing, it was at a low volume so didn’t interrupt the vibes.

For the kids and fur babies, there is a lawned games area to keep everyone entertained. It’s hard not to feel at home in such a warm, family, and dog-friendly environment.

The drinks? Incredible. The Southside cocktail was delightfully refreshing, while the Negroni showcased a perfect blend of bold flavours.

Their gin tasting is a must-try if you really want to understand the artistry behind their award-winning spirits. David, the distiller is very proud of what he has created (understandably) and the presentation with the gin pairing has every gin perfectly balanced with a different Fever Tree Tonic / juice and fruit. He is more than happy to tell you about the magic that goes into every gin.

Dapper Chap Distillery offers the perfect blend of great drinks, welcoming service, and an amazing setting. It’s truly a top-notch spot for a relaxed afternoon with friends, family, or even your furry companions. We’ll definitely be back!
