This means you can easily converse around a table of six people.

The Accredited area is the Colton Room

Advise staff you found them through the Ambient Menu, if the Colton Room is not available, there is a secondary that is Accredited

Then, all you need to do is enjoy the company of the people you are there to see AND hear.

When booking mention the Ambient Menu – Oxenberry has two Accredited areas:

Colton Room set aside for large groups to minimise disturbance for other patrons with own bathroom
If not booked this room can be requested for people who are sound sensitive
They also have two tables outside, but undercover, away from the other groups where they sit sound sensitive diners (if weather is inclement they close the cafe blinds)

Note the noise levels featured are for the main dining room inside

After reading the reviews about this place I had to check it out for myself!

What is not to love about this place!

Service: Upon entering you are greeted by friendly staff and a warm smile

There is a comfy couch and a fireplace as you enter, inviting you to sit, chat and linger.

We chose to sit outside because the weather was fantastic and look at this view

We had a tasting alongside Grilled Pita & House-Made Dips
Today’s dip choice was:
– Smoked baba ganoush
– White bean with cauliflower, lemon and thyme
– Roast carrot and pumpkin
Yum Yum Yum 😋

And the wines? Perfection! As you can see from the tasting image, many were sold out (for a good reason)

Inside they also have a delicious fridge with sweets like tiramisu on offer, next time I will partake – they looked amazing

Wide range of age groups hear from the young to the not so young, and everyone was made welcome.

When a large bus tour arrived I thought ‘oh dear, there goes the ambience’, but no, they were shepherded to a different area so we didn’t even know they were there!

We have been here many times for coffee and lunch. Sitting both outside and inside on cooler days. We’ve brought guests from overseas and interstate or just us two having a coffee after a walk on the Shiraz trail. Brunch perfect!
The reason why? … easy hearing and the conversation flows. The coffee is good, their staff always kind and helpful and good service. Bench picnic seating or comfy inside leather seating. Recently we had their cheeseboard and wine selection and also a truly mouthwatering steak with a garlic herb butter, shoestring fries and rocket salad. Just the right size for a light lunch and priced right. The menu reflects the seasons, so it’s not the same every time. I love this! This is a relaxing, refreshing and delicious casual open air experience brimming with many ambient positives. Best of all…we hear you!!!!
Well managed, bright, tidy and clean restrooms and those peaceful views of the vines never disappoint. Thanks you!!

Returned here after hiring their back room for a family brunch the day after a wedding. Large tables outside with grasses area for kids. Nice food and coffee. Good service. The outdoor tables allow easy conversation with minimal noise.

Oxenberry Winery on Kangarilla Rd McLaren Vale has a lovely large outdoor area overlooking the vines and Shiraz trail.

Good coffee, little cakes and lovely friendly staff.

Always delicious cafe meals for brunch and lunch. They do events, wine tastings etc. Check open times.

Easy hearing and fresh air. A good place to take visitors.
