The restaurant may not be much to look at but the food is authentic and delicious. They have a separate specials menu as well which requires advance ordering but sometimes they have certain dishes from that menu prepared and available on the day. Their regular roast duck and pipa roast duck are star dishes. Pipa tofu is one of my personal faves.

The noise level is moderate if the restaurant is absolutely full, otherwise it’s easy to hear everyone on the table (even if it’s a big round table for 10).
