We were a group of three having a pre-show dinner. The restaurant is attractive with a central square bar and a grand piano on a pedestal. Staff were friendly and explained the ‘no menu’ concept by kneeling at our table. They were careeful to check on allergies, vegetarian etc for which they can accomodate.

Lots of glass and hard surfaces detracted from the experience.

Main course was delivered on a wooden plank – there signature. The beef ragu, rigatoni verde and gnocchi with mushroom were all of a very high standard (as the should be for $45+ a pop).

There were LOTS of attentive staff who were available for a chat about the food or even Italy and teh meaning of Tiramasu (‘pick me up’).

Desserts were exceptional.
– Tiramasu
– Limoncello tiramasu (the best!)
– Rose petal pana cotta

A couple of glasses of Hentley Farm chardonnay and we were satisified with the delicious food and extra service. However, this bespoke restaurant doesn’t come cheap at just under $300 for 3 people.

The pianist started at 7pm just as we headed to Her Majesty’s.

Unqualified but friendly staff, no menu anywhere as it’s being verbally communicated(:0 , yeah … pretentious..
Horrible interior: sounds bounces off from everywhere and ugly as Teutonic 80’s hilton ugly. Food is okay but in no relation to the price what-so-ever.
In short: bad, lazy chef & pretentious owner/manager

Lunch today was delicious, and we had friendly and knowledgeable wait staff

Note: there is no hard copy menu, so no prices either. It threw me with my ADHD as I can’t recall several options at the same time or the prices.

The food was fantastic but it was hard to hear across the table. Lively Friday lunch crowd enjoying a well deserved break at the end of the week. They also have live music, so noise level will pick up then more.
