As per my rules I had to go for the “Woody Burger”- which they give an option to double up and have add ons so if course I couldn’t say no to that 😁
End result is what you see before you here which was stacked with;
▪︎ Chargrilled brisket beef patty (doubled)
▪︎ American cheese (doubled)
▪︎ Egg (added)
▪︎ Bacon (added)
▪︎ Red onion
▪︎ Tomato
▪︎ Lettuce
+ housemade burger sauce

Served with chips the total cost of this beast was close to $30 so by the time I knocked off a couple of @bigshedbeer American Pale’s it was a reasonably expensive, albeit delicious, lunch.

Always fantastic service at #thewoody and whilst it’s never been exactly “pumping” when I’ve been the set up of the bistro dining allows for plenty of peaceful, quiet places to enjoy your meal. @theambientmenu
would defiantly approve 👌

I recently had after work drinks with some customers. We sat in the outdood area which was quiet and a great area in which to hold a conversation. As the tavern was relatively quiet on an overcast day it might have been exceptionally quiet?

We held a small function for 25 people during lunch time on a Monday. The staff were amazing, pizzas great and because it was a weekday it wasn’t very busy and conversations easy to have. Room was very large which helped with noise.

Sat outside for drinks and platters, moderate noise from traffic but could easily hear conversation. There are some wooden swings which if kids are playing on can make an annoying clang sound

Pizzas yum and bar staff always friendly.
