Sitting at the outdoor bar in the morning Sun sipping your coffee and looking over the Maroochy River is a perfect way to spend your Sunday morning.
Yes I have a Hearing Loss and wear a Cochlear implant, suffering from an uncomfortable noise condition and struggle in noisy environments.

Occasionally I have to remind myself that I wear technology that is designed to serve me and enhance my life, not control it.

So many amazing little dining experiences just like the Cotton tree beach bar are popular for great culinary reasons. So today I found myself adjusting my settings, and purposely positioning myself to maximise my comfort.

It was worth it..
Perfectly cooked and balanced plates arrived with equally good caffeine fixes.

For me it was the Japanese Okonomiyaki pancakes with thick cut bacon and a fried egg.
Perfectly garnished with slices of chilli, and drizzled with kewpie and tonkatsu

My wife loves her Eggs Benny and today opted for the chunky mushroom selection.

Fabulous choices both cooked to perfection and seasoning on point.

The staff were friendly and the service was great, busy little spot and for all the right reasons.
