A Hidden Gem on the Gold Coast

Nestled away from the lively vibes of Surfers, Bumbles Cafe is a delightful hidden gem along the river. This charming cafe offers more than just a cup of coffee; it provides an unforgettable experience that lingers after you’ve left.

I’ve been twice now, it is a place you look forward to going back to.

Upon entering Bumbles, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. “A quirky venue with outdoor seats, hung art, flower vases and bright decor for Modern Australian eats”.

The menu at Bumbles Cafe has something for everyone. I can vouch for the Karaage Chicken burger, it was so good. And their smoothie is the best I have had in a long time! The staff is also incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel like a welcome guest from the moment you step inside.

Bumbles Cafe doesn’t rush its patrons. It encourages you to take your time, savour your meal, and engage in meaningful conversations with your companions. They allow you to appreciate the simple joys of life – good food, good company and delicious food.

It’s a tranquil oasis amid the bustling Gold Coast. I’m already looking forward to returning to Bumbles on my next trip to the Gold Coast, and I recommend you do the same.

Hot Tip: ask the staff ahead of time if you are going to be seated near a bottomless brunch, that will not be ambient any where near that table

For meetings you can book the ‘Blue Room’, perfect for a private conversation. This is open weds – sun, noon – 10pm with a different menu from the Bumbles café.

Private areas are available within the Bumbles cafe, you just need to book ahead.

The outdoor dining area out the front is lovely, and as it is not on a main road, traffic noise won’t interfere with your conversation.

The back pergola is also lovely and ambient, the tables here are widely spaced so it is quieter here than out the front.

Mon – Weds brunch can get quite busy, Thurs is the quietest day for brunch, then it picks up again from Fridays – Sundays as you would expect from a popular café.
